Yin Yoga Teacher Training 50 Hour
Yin Yoga is a relatively new style of Asana practice, results showed that using postures from classical Hatha Yoga in new ways, the pressure applied would help release tension in the connective tissues, or fascia, of the body. Yoga transformed, once again, from an ancient practice for liberating the mind to a contemporary tool implemented for greater human health and well-being.
In these 50hr Yin Yoga Teacher training sessions we discover the connections of various visions of the body both from traditional Yoga schools as well as modern western and traditional Chinese medicine. Learn to see deeper into your body and help align, heal and strengthen your body from the inside out. We believe that flexibility of the mind outweighs the flexibility of the body, both will be explored and explained in more detail during these wonderful 5-day intensive training sessions. The schedule includes twice daily Yin Yoga practice as well as theory sessions and workshops exploring anatomy, philosophy and teaching methodology
Remaining longer in the physical shapes created throughout a Yin Yoga practice allows the connective tissues to slowly break the stiff patterns created by many of our daily activities, such as poor work posture, childcare, injuries and mental stress. Yin Yoga Teacher Training Level I is ideal if you are new to the practice of Yin Yoga and would like to better get to know the philosophies, traditions and the deeper workings of the human body. The course is also great if you are already a certified 200hr Yoga Teacher who would like to better understand and teach Yin Yoga. This training is certified by Yoga Alliance.
